      Article summary

      A node can have one of the following states:

      • Online - The node is available.

      • Offline -  The node is not available.

      • Configuring - The node is being launched for the first time, or an AMI (Amazon Machine Image) version update is taking place.

      • Setup failed - The configuration failed. Auto-launching the connector will be retried until success, or until aborted manually.

      • Upgrading - A connector version update is ongoing.

      • Preparing - The node is after a reboot, before returning to online state.
